Byington offers a stunning, 95-acre, wine-experience getaway with expansive views of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Monterey Bay, and Pinot Noir vineyards, just minutes from Silicon Valley. We craft award-winning wines in an 18,000-square-foot villa that houses winemaking facilities, wine cave, tasting room, and elegant event facilities. Los Altos Tasting Room opened on Main Street in summer 2017.

Hours

We welcome the public to join us for Wine Experiences on Fridays from 1pm until 6pm, and Saturdays starting from noon until 6pm, and Sundays, from noon to 5pm (with the last tastings commencing an hour before closing). We offer a Wine Tasting all three days, and a Wine Tour & Tasting with 3 tour times on Saturdays by reservation. We have a limited amount of space for walk-in guests, so we strongly recommend reservations. With any of these experiences, guests are invited to enjoy our hiking trail or Bocce ball court. See below for more details.

Due to a private event, Byington will be closed to members and guests on Saturday, September 14th, 2024. Thank you for your understanding.

Wine Tasting

Enjoy our Wine Tasting experience overlooking our beautifully manicured lawns, vineyard, and Monterey Bay on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (and select holidays). You will be hosted by one of our knowledgable Tasting Room Associates, who will take you through 5, 1-ounce pours of our wonderful wines. A gourmet cheese and charcuterie board is available for additional purchase if desired. While a limited number of "walk-ins" are available, reservations are highly recommended. This experience may be reserved for parties of up to 8 guests. This experience is $25 per guest and complimentary for each Wine Club Member + 3 guests.

If you are looking for a wonderful wine tasting experience and tour, I highly recommend taking the drive to Byington. I took a group of 10 people on a wine tour and Byington was, by far, the favorite of everyone. Yes, there are lots of wineries to choose from in the Santa Cruz Mountains, but if you want a great selection of wines, friendly and knowledgeable staff, a tour that is both educational and entertaining and fantastic views... Byington has it all.
