Food Trucks at Byington

We work with the leader in street food in Silicon Valley beyond. Once you book your event, please let us know your top 3 food trucks, so we may confirm availability. All food trucks provide 3 small plates for the meal. Most people eat 2-3 plates. Please note that the food truck provider may vary the menu and options to ensure the optimal experience for guests. A minimum of 30 guests is recommended for food trucks. (If smaller groups are interested in the food truck option, additional fee will be added to account for food truck minimums dollar spend).

The Waffle Roost Truck has combined an authentic Belgian waffle recipe that they’ve been perfecting (forever?) with traditional buttermilk fried chicken (with a li’l kick). Add some unstoppable sides. And they’ve put The Waffle Roost flair on this Southern sweet and savory classic. All of their recipes are made in small batches daily, using only fresh, high quality ingredients. This ensures the homemade goodness that they promise you’ll love. There’s something sweet or savory (or both!) for everyone! Come and get your grub on! There are vegetarian and gluten free options as well. The Waffle Roost is so awesome, owner Justin even ran our hiking trail before his last gig up at Byington!!!

“What started from one of Ron’s cooking classes at the Palo Alto Adult School, to selling Oaxacan Mole Negro and Tamales at the Palo Alto Farmers’ Market, to owning and operating The Oaxacan Kitchen restaurant in Palo Alto has led us back to the streets. Oaxacan Kitchen Mobile took to the road January of 2011. We serve authentic Mexican food created with seasonal ingredients sourced from local purveyors. The ingredients that we procure from the farms and artisans at the various farmers’ markets go directly in to our food. The Oaxacan Kitchen Mobile is committed to the environment and offers sustainably raised and hormone-free meats. The seafood that we offer is sourced locally.”

Our Food Truck partner requires 3 weeks before an event to finalize details, make necessay arrangements, schedule necessary staff and trucks, and to allow the Food Truck Vendors to prepare for the Event. Any events booked with less than 2 weeks may require a “rush charge” by the food truck companies we work with.
